Step Four When you have reached the shore, and everybody has disembarked, take the anchor rope that is coming from the anchor locker and tie it to the bow cleat.

You have just completed the pulley system between the boat, the shore and the "Anchor Away" device. Now all that is needed is to pull on the anchor rope that leads to the pulley, and the boat will be pulled back to that point.

When the boat is in position, you will find that you have a large loop of anchor rope on shore. Simply tie it around a convenient anchor (rock, tree branch etc.) and your boat is now moored away from the shore.
